Emily’s professional experience includes seven years employment in the fashion industry, where she worked closely with the designers and marketers at DKNY/Donna Karan/Hanes through the entirety of the design process, from concept to finished pieces. This included conceptualizing and sketching collections, conducting concept, mood, and trend research, producing digital presentations and trend and concept boards for multiple deliveries per year, working with lab dips and color combos, sketching sample inventory stock, and working in the showroom.
