In 2019, Emily conceptualized and wrote a new fashion program for Queens College that will allow for cross-disciplinary studies between majors in Fashion, and Drama, Theater, and Dance. She has been advisor for the Fashion and Textiles program since 2014. She guides students in all aspects of completing the program, including mentoring for internships, jobs, graduate admissions, and resume building.

Emily actively works with multiple entities and departments across the Queens College campus, including the Godwin-Ternbach Museum, the Advising Center, Enrollment, Development, Communications, the Provost’s office, and Media and College Relations. Since 2015, she has been a member of both the Kupferberg Center for the Arts Advisory Board and Arts Entities Committees.

Emily’s professional experience includes working as a project manager for the artist Sol Lewitt for four years, traveling nationally and working in museums, galleries and private residences. She translated blueprint sketches and conceptual problems into large-scale wall drawings and paintings, and trained and managed local teams to install the artworks. Major projects include Christie’s Auction House, NYC, the High Museum, Atlanta GA, the Embassy Suites Hotel, NYC, and retrospectives in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York.
